DrGw390 – still at first site, holes, U1556C/D/E

We spent from May 6 thru May 10 at Holes U1556C, U1556D, U1556E. This post has a collection of my tweets from the coring at our first hole for Expedition 390, before heading to do additional holes at this site.
Although I already had social media duties as part of my responsibilities on JOIDES Resolution, I wanted to share beyond the existing JR social media network information about the ship and our expedition. We’re usually so busy working, we don’t take a moment out for these fun group shots – but this one is one of my favorites of the entire expedition!
And my week arrived at @IAmSciComm! It was so much work, but I’m so glad I did it to expand the reach of scientific ocean drilling to science communicators.
We enjoy taking a break and all heading out of the science labs to view the sunset. It was a nice moment before we continue with our coring at a new site…
