  • One quilt (Red Sky Morning, SciOD Warning), Under the Sea (Moku Art Studio, virtual exhibit endorsed by the UNESCO’s United Nations Ocean Decade, 2025).
  • Two quilts (Taking the Temperature, and From the Bridge), Guild of Natural Science Illustrators Juried Members’ Exhibition (virtual exhibit, 2024).
  • One quilt (Blue Skies and Cloud Cover), Guild of Natural Science Illustrators 55th Anniversary Juried Members’ Exhibition (virtual exhibit, 2023).
  • One quilt (Looking Out at the Ghosts of the Coast), The Changing Chesapeake (Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, St. Michaels, MD), from March 1, 2023, to February 25, 2024. My piece was selected for display at the entrance of the exhibit, and then was purchased by the museum as part of their permanent collections.

Exhibitions

  • Seven Endangered Species Act mini quilts on display at the Science Play-Space Initiative (SPI)/Kenyon College Wright Center (Mount Vernon, OH), from April 2023 to August 2023. The entire collection then went on to be displayed at the Delaware County Institute of Science (Media, PA), from October 2024 until fall 2025.
  • Solo exhibitor – Stitching Climate Science & Solutions (photos/description of display), at Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens (Devon, PA), from October 1, 2022, thru January 8, 2023. This collection of 24 quilted and 11 crocheted pieces calls attention to changes in local-to-global climate data and the actions we can take in addressing these changes. Pieces include examples from Philadelphia, PA, and the Louisiana coast. The exhibit included an opening reception, educational session on teaching visitors how to research and stitch their own temperature data, and a gallery walk for a high school group.
  • Solo exhibitor – Stitching Hope for the Louisiana Coast. American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting [invited solo art exhibitor, New Orleans, LA] (December 13-17, 2021) (photos/description of display). I had another quilt display at the 2023 AGU Fall Meeting, Stories from the South Atlantic Ocean: Highlights from an IODP Expedition via Quilts [solo art exhibitor, San Francisco, CA] (December 11-14, 2023) (photos/description of display)
  • Solo exhibitor – Drawing Down Towards Climate Solutions. TEDxPSUBrandywine art display [solo art exhibitor, Penn State Brandywine, Media, PA] (November 17, 2021). This same collection of quilts was on display at the Earth Educators’ Rendezvous in Philadelphia, PA (July 15-19, 2024)
  • Consilience Virtual Exhibition – The Anthropocene. [virtual – invited exhibitor along with eleven additional international scientists/artists] (September 15, 2021)
  • Climate solutions mini quilts. Mid-Atlantic Climate Change Education Conference [virtual – submission invited and paid to exhibit] (June 30, 2021)
  • Solving the puzzle of reversing global warming. Sigma Xi Annual Meeting/STEM Art and Film Festival [virtual – submission peer reviewed] (November 8, 2020)
